As a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group, Lauren dedicates her practice to assisting clients with matters including data security incident response, data breach notification, preparation of privacy policies and notices, negotiation of data protection agreements, and compliance with all aspects of privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, including state and federal sectoral privacy law.
Ms. Evans received her B.A. Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1993. She received her J.D. cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington in 1996. Ms. Evans practiced at the Law Offices of Joseph H. Thibodeau in Denver, Colorado and with Crary, Clark & Domanico, in Spokane, Washington. Ms. Evans is now a partner with Dworkin, Chambers, Williams, York, Benson, & Evans P.C. with an emphasis in workers' compensation.
Ms. O'Brien Williams received a B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 1984. She attended Whittier College School of Law where she was an editor of the Whittier Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts. She obtained her J.D. from Whittier College in 1987. After completing a judicial clerkship in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, she practiced with a Chicago insurance litigation firm until her move to Denver. In October, 1992, she became associated with Pryor, Carney & Johnson concentrating in the areas of insurance coverage, defense, healthcare and commercial litigation. Ms. O'Brien Williams has acted as a mediator by appointment for the Arapahoe and Douglas County District Courts. In 1995, she joined Dworkin, Chambers, Williams, York, Benson & Evans, P.C. as a principal where she continues her insurance litigation practice.
After admission to the Colorado Bar in May of 1990, Mr. York became associated with Pryor, Carney & Johnson, P.C. where his practice involved complex commercial litigation and insurance defense work. In August of 1995, Mr. York became a principal with Dworkin, Chambers, Williams, York, Benson & Evans, P.C. where he continues to emphasize in all aspects of subrogation. Mr. York's insurance practice also includes insurance fraud, bad faith, audit and retrospective premium litigation, as well as premises and automobile liability defense. Mr. York has earned the highest possible peer review, AV, from Martindale Hubble and has instructed attorneys on the Federal and Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure.
Gary was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and emigrated to the United States in 1974. He grew up in Denver, received his B.A. from Beloit College in 1987, and received a J.D. Degree from the University of Denver, College of Law, in 1990.
Gary advises and counsels numerous businesses on their employment practices and procedures. He has litigated Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and ERISA claims as well as commercial business disputes, including real estate, construction defect, non-competition and trade secret matters. In addition to litigating in State and Federal Court for the last 25 years, Gary also drafts employment agreement and negotiates severance packages for highly compensated executives.
Mr. Brown, a founding Partner of Brown Gren Abraham & McCracken, continues his focus on representing insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation, employment law, and general liability claims in Colorado and Utah. Mr. Brown has been practicing in Colorado since 2005 and has successfully defended employers against claims of workers’ compensation, discrimination, as well as harassment retaliation based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age and disability, in addition to local discrimination laws.
Michael Drews is the Northwest Regional Managing Partner for Tyson & Mendes. He has a wealth of experience and enjoys the challenge of handling cases that draw from diverse practice areas, including professional liability (medical and legal malpractice), premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, hospitality law, interstate trucking and transportation law, commercial law, construction defects, employment law, and bad-faith litigation.
Jacob Felderman is Head of Legal Operations for Tyson & Mendes. Mr. Felderman has in-depth experience handling cases in California and Colorado in many practice areas, including general negligence, governmental liability, professional liability, business disputes, premises liability, product liability, personal injury, and commercial and general civil litigation.
Chris Mosley is a partner in Foley Hoag's Insurance Recovery practice. He specializes in representing corporate policyholders in disputes against their insurers. He also advises companies on various risk management issues, including the development of complex insurance programs and assistance in due diligence and other activities related to M&A and similar activity.
Brooke Yates is a partner in Foley Hoag's Litigation and Insurance Recovery practices.
